The guide always tries to lead as safe as possible and conform to all posible situations during the tour. Nonetheless, objective danger can occur any time, therefore no absolute safety can be assured. All tours of whatever nature, generally entail significant physical strain and risks which may result in injury or even death; the client is aware of that and is willing to run such risks when concluding an agreement on a tour. Exclusion of Participation

The guide is permitted not to allow you to join an activity, or to exclude you from one, if you do not meet the personal participation requirements, your participation would endanger you, other clients or the guide or in any other way make the activity impossible in the long-term. This applies accordingly to a participant you have referred. No refund will be made to participants excluded on these safety grounds. If you disregard instructions or choose to leave the group you do so at your own risk, and you forfeit the Runnatrip duty of care. Above exclusions are non refundable.

Trek and/or Program Change

The guide reserves the right to change the mountain or trekking objective, itinerary or stop the tour should he believe that continuing would place any group member and/or himself at undue risk due to unfavorable weather conditions and/or participant ability. For stopped or changed tours, the whole amount for the primary planned tour will be charged.

No Shows

You are responsible for arriving on time at the notified meeting point. We will leave promptly at the published departure time. If you are late, the tour will leave without you and your reservation will be forfeited without refund. Please make the greatest effort to show up on time.

Joining a tour

This involves joining other trekkers in one group towards a mountain trek. We try hard to ensure all members of the team are suited to the courses they are undertaking. However, occasionally guests will struggle from unforeseen circumstances and will have to turn around during a tour. By looking on one of my public tours you are joining a team and must accept this may compromise your own goal or other aims. Folk not wanting to accept this compromise should book private guiding or contact Runnatrip.

Self-responsibility for mountain rescue insurance

In Peru, you will always be asked to pay for mountain rescue and this could be several hundred soles. The settlement of a valid accident and health policy (with stipulations of mountain rescue coverage) covering any medical and /or related costs is strongly recommended. Insurance coverage is the responsibility of the client. Runnatrip or the guides accept no responsibility for costs incurred.

Right of Image

The guide and Runnatrip may seek to use photos of participants for the website/publicity without obtaining any further consent or payment in respect of such photographs and/or films. Please advise the guide before the tour if you would prefer not to be involve in this.
